How you will learn:

In a small class setting, you will explore, in depth, The Values Institute’s Leadership Model for System Alignment.

You will also learn about yourself via the highly-acclaimed  Life Styles Inventory™ (LSI 1 and 2), a 360 assessment instrument developed by Human Synergistics that will provide a wealth of useful information including a personal development plan. You will have the opportunity to take the LSI at the outset of the course and one year later so you will be able to gauge your progress.

Training outline:

February 18, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Lunch included)

  • Introduction to Values-Centered Leadership and the Leadership Model for System Alignment
  • Explanation of Life-Styles Inventory and distribution of access codes for participants and their raters

April 1, 8:30 – 5:00 p.m. (Lunch included)

  • Application of the principles outlined in the Leadership Model for System Alignment
  • Review the results of Life-Styles Inventory
  • Begin Personal Development Plan

February/March

  • Individual, one-hour meeting with Values Institute facilitator to discuss and further develop your Personal Development Plan

July 2015  (Date TBD) 8:30 – 2:00  (Lunch included)

  • Review of Leadership Model
  • Roundtable discussion of individual progress
  • Collective problem solving

January 2015

  • Participants and raters complete second LSI

February 2015 (Date TBD) 8:30 – 4:30   (Lunch included)

  • Review of Values-Centered Leadership principles
  • Discussion of personal and organizational development during preceding year
  • Readout of LSI results

Who is eligible:

If you have oversight responsibility within an organization that serves young people (preschool to high school aged youth) or their families, you are eligible to participate.

$1,295.00  — includes:  Values-Centered Leadership Manual,  4 classroom sessions with lunches, individual V-CL Certificate of Completionmentoring session with program facilitator, 2 rounds of LifeStyles Inventories ($400 value), framed certificate of completion
